Despite our protests and claims of “we were here first!” It’s clear that Lee is hell bent on having an impact on our plans.
After much map pondering, forecast reviews and moderate debate over our options we’ve decided to skip Moncton and a long with it our exploration of the western side of the Bay of Fundy – which was out of the question due to Lee regardless.
We’re beelining direct to Saint John today to get into our hotel a day early and will hunker down there for the storm and take tomorrow off. Yeah, this is putting us right in the path, but we felt this gave us the best option to clear the weather quickly and lose the least amount of travel time.
Long day of riding ahead today, but we’re good with it.
